After almost 6 years of this business, we have noticed some trends....

For our Faithful B58 Shoppers, we try hard to reach our inventory goal ...

At least 40 new items in every 10 days

 

 So, that brings me back to the lesson... The new stuff sells.  After a full day of shopping and fluffin' we laugh about the things that sell within a few days.... Our fresh junk sells fast. 

(That means we are on the constant lookout for great new old stuff for you!  Yall keep us on our toes!)

 

If you see something you can't live without, buy now... because someone else might be right behind you that loves it too!

 

 

P.S. - Another reason that some of our stuff sells so fast is because Booth 58 has great prices!  Antique Company Mall vendors have great prices all around... Make a trip up to McKinney to see the deals ...or you may be crying later.



Seeing Red

Valentine's To-Do

Somehow a week just flew by without me posting....
Somehow January slipped away ....
Somehow February is really here.... hearts and flowers and all.

This weekend, my kids and I will get geared up for Valentine's Day.  Lots to do: make our mailboxes for our class parties, address our classmates' valentines, and find something special for our teachers.

Now, if this was all up to me, we could check all these things off by making one trip to the Antique Company Mall..... vintage metal mailboxes for our desks, pretty little valentines with sweet sentiments from days of old, and one-of-a kind goodies for the teachers...

 

BUT my kids would rather make a Target run for the latest and greatest Valentine goods - which will include some kind of gummy candy, Captain America, and lots of plastic, I am sure....

 

Oh well... wishful thinking.... The teachers may still luck out with a small treasure from ACM... I can still control that part!

Big Girl Tea Parties

Just cause we aren't little girls anymore, doesn't mean we can't have tea parties!  Mom has a soft spot for children's tea sets, so we have several at our house.  Sister loves to have a real tea party (with hot cocoa) using the china tea sets that Grandmother has given her... But Big Brother and Little Mr. 58 are usually just as eager to join in.

 Why not host a Valentine's tea party...a real tea party .... with real tea party stuff.... for some real girlfriends!?!   We so easily forget to pull out our good stuff when we have guests over.... I'm always a big fan of being real with your friends...red solo cups are a norm at our house when we have company over..... but I also think pulling out some pretty things and sharing hospitality with those you love is a sweet thing!

So send out your invites and then come by ACM for the perfect things you need to host your Big Girl Valentine's Tea Party.  Booth 58 has all you need... tea pots.... pretty plates... and don't forget to add a touch of whimsy to your party with a little favor for your guests.

New Old Stuff

Just a few new old things we put in the booth recently... Does that make sense? new - old stuff?

This piece is a gorgeous little dresser....with the perfect finish.  It would make a great end table or night stand.

We've added lots of new Valentines banners... tag and burlap.  Come grab one while they are still here!

We spent a sunny afternoon changing our window display this week.   Yay for Sunshine!

Hello hearts.

Valentine's Day is hard to do without getting too cheesy.  Everything is awfully "cute" that goes with Hearts Day.  We thought our "Picture Perfect" look didn't over do it.

Fresh Start

Undecking the halls can be a downer after Christmas... But, I always feel a little relieved to get my house back to normal and have a fresh start to the year.

  After taking the remnants of Christmas out of the booth, things seem a bit bare ... but fresh is a better word.

We are getting ready for Valentine's Day, but until then, things are a little clearer than usual for us.   As always, we have plenty of frames, chalkboards, white dishes, silver, mason jars, and banners for you.  We are on our way to some of our "honey holes" to find you loyal B58 shoppers some new treasures!  Come back soon!
